Love can be an immediate response to a painting, often before your mind has even had a chance to figure out what it is looking at. The beauty of contemporary art is that it is an artists interpretation of a mood, an experience or a feeling. Everyone's experiences are different, and therefor uniquely triggered by colours, shapes and compositions. Their power lies in the 'je ne sais quoi.' One of my greatest joys is the attempt to capture this.
